Composition and care advice

  • Composition: 47% cotton, 47% viscose, 6% elastane.
  • UV-resistant fabric (UPF 50+ maximum certification) suitable for everyday activities. Blocks over 98% of UV rays.
  • Slightly stretch fabric for optimum comfort
  • Fabric not designed to withstand chlorine and salt water
  • Machine wash inside out at 30°C maximum. Wash separately. Do not tumble dry. This fabric tends not to wrinkle and does not require ironing, but it can be ironed with a soft iron (110°C maximum). If there is a magnet in the garment, iron around it.
What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

This UPF 50+ certified UV-resistant fabric is perfect for your everyday activities, even in hot summer weather. Soft thanks to the cotton it contains, it's also cool on the skin, as well as being very light.
It's a fluid, breathable, slightly stretchy, non-transparent fabric that will keep you comfortable all day long. This fabric may be suitable for low-intensity physical activity, such as hiking at a moderate pace, but is not recommended for more intense sporting activities.

Emballage.

Rien à dire sur les produits, vraiment très bien, tres beaux, très facile d'entretien aussi. Juste très déçu par l'emballage d'envoi, un simple plastique blanc exactement comme les emballages en provenance de Chine....
Vu le prix des vêtements Ker sun il me semble que l'on peut s'attendre à mieux.

Très bien mais pas de conseils de lavage !

Merci pour votre avis.
Pour le lavage, vous pouvez laver ce t-shirt en machine. Idéalement à 30 degrès, même si il peut passer à 40 degrès également. La protection solaire ne se détériore pas avec les lavages.

Evitez le sèche linge.
