Its UPF 50+ certified fabric will effectively protect your skin from the sun's rays in all circumstances.

  • Composition: 47% cotton, 47% viscose, 6% elastane.
  • UV-resistant fabric (UPF 50+ maximum certification) suitable for everyday activities. Blocks over 98% of UV rays.
  • Slightly stretch fabric for optimum comfort
  • Fabric not designed to withstand chlorine and salt water
  • Machine wash inside out at 30°C maximum. Wash separately. Do not tumble dry.
  • This fabric tends not to wrinkle and does not require ironing, but it can be ironed with a soft iron (110°C maximum). If there is a magnet in the garment, iron around it.
What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

At KER SUN, your safety is our priority. That is why we use our own laboratory to test the UV clothing and accessories we offer on our online shop to make sure they comply with UPF 50+ certification.

Returns

We will fully refund all returned products if they meet the eligibility conditions below.

For returns from the United States, the shipping label costs $9.

Conditions of eligibility for returns

Eligibility conditions of returns for full refund:

1 - Returned items must be in new condition with labels still attached

2 - You must have received the order less than 15 days ago to request a return.

Extended return period for the holidays: you have until january 15 2025, to submit your return request.

To make your return, take your order number (in the subject line of the order confirmation e-mail), your e-mail address and your zip code and enter them on the portal. Then follow the instructions.

You can choose the USPS Ground option and enter your address to see nearby USPS locations.

If no USPS locations are displayed when creating a label, this may mean that there is no drop-off location available within a 15 to 20 km radius of the address indicated. In this case, we recommend that you use the Self Post option (free of charge). You must then print the Self Post Label and Return Form and the cost of delivery is at your charge.

To make an exchange, simply make a return and place a new order for the item you want.

Ker Sun will cover the shipping cost of the exchange. Just email us to get the discount code or to get the refund if you have already paid for it online.

All the softness of cotton in a UV-resistant fabric... in a Lite version

This UPF 50+ certified UV-resistant fabric is perfect for your everyday activities, even in hot summer weather. Soft thanks to the cotton it contains, it's also cool on the skin, as well as being very light.
It's a fluid, breathable, slightly stretchy, non-transparent fabric that will keep you comfortable all day long. This fabric may be suitable for low-intensity physical activity, such as hiking at a moderate pace, but is not recommended for more intense sporting activities.
