Our Men's Lite UV Shirt, shown here in Dark Denim, is the latest version of our men's UV denim shirt, 100 grams lighter than its predecessor.

For optimum sun protection for your neck and nape, its collar can be folded up and held in place with an ingenious little magnet.

Its cotton and lyocell (wood fibre) fabric makes it absolutely soft and light. Its natural feel makes it cool and comfortable on hot summer days.

This men's UV denim shirt will go everywhere with you: at your family lunches or barbecues, on boat trips or simply when you're out and about in town or the countryside.

  • Machine wash inside out (30°C maximum). Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry.
  • Can be ironed (110°C maximum) except on the collar magnet.
What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

At KER SUN, your safety is our priority. That is why we use our own laboratory to test the UV clothing and accessories we offer on our online shop to make sure they comply with UPF 50+ certification.

Returns

We will fully refund all returned products if they meet the eligibility conditions below.

For returns from the United States, the shipping label costs $9.

Conditions of eligibility for returns

Eligibility conditions of returns for full refund:

1 - Returned items must be in new condition with labels still attached

2 - You must have received the order less than 15 days ago to request a return.

Extended return period for the holidays: you have until january 15 2025, to submit your return request.

To make your return, take your order number (in the subject line of the order confirmation e-mail), your e-mail address and your zip code and enter them on the portal. Then follow the instructions.

You can choose the USPS Ground option and enter your address to see nearby USPS locations.

If no USPS locations are displayed when creating a label, this may mean that there is no drop-off location available within a 15 to 20 km radius of the address indicated. In this case, we recommend that you use the Self Post option (free of charge). You must then print the Self Post Label and Return Form and the cost of delivery is at your charge.

To make an exchange, simply make a return and place a new order for the item you want.

Ker Sun will cover the shipping cost of the exchange. Just email us to get the discount code or to get the refund if you have already paid for it online.

UV-resistant denim that is a lot lighter!

Contrary to appearances, this sun protective fabric is not 100% cotton, but a material made from lyocell (a wood fibre) and cotton. Lyocell naturally helps to regulate body temperature, as well as limiting moisture and odours associated with perspiration. Combined with cotton, the result is a fabric that is very light and soft on the skin, but also hard-wearing and breathable. Garments made from this fabric are therefore pleasant to wear all day long, even in hot weather.

Sehr schönes Hemd habe ich schon genutzt ..

Die erste Lieferung (Hemd) in eine DPD-Station lief super!
Da ich nach einer Hautkrebs-OP nun zur REHA muß (ab 10.09.2024) habe ich noch ein Kapuzenshirt (90€ mit Liferung nach Hause) am 02.09.24 bestellt! Lieferung ist angeblich erfolgt und nicht angekommen ( keine Info wo es angeblich abgegeben wurde)! Im Haus bei den Mitbewohner nachgefragt mit "NULL" Ergebnis.
Nun bin ich seit 05.09.24 in ständigem Kontakt mit KER-SUN und durfte eine Datei ( in englisch) ausfüllen!
Ab 10.09.24 bin ich nicht mehr am Wohnort!
Der Fehler liegt bestimmt nicht zu 100 % bei KER-SUN sondern eher beim Lieferanten! Also für ALLE möglichst nicht nach HAUSE liefern lassen! Ausserdem war ich zum angeblichen Lieferungzeitraum in der Wohnung!
