The Coolibar sun protective mittens provide optimal sun protection for the hands. Whether you are driving, boating, sensitive to the sun, or just enjoying the outdoors, your hands are exposed to the sun more than any other skin and therefore age more than any other part of your body. . Your hands deserve to be protected.
These sun protective mittens include small silicone prints on the palms and fingers for better grip and dexterity. Made from a stretchy fabric, these sun protection gloves cover up to the wrist and cover half of the fingers.

This product is UPF 50+ certified.
UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.
By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.
