  • Machine wash inside out (30°C maximum). Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Can be ironed (110°C maximum).
What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

Très bien !

N’aimant pas avoir trop chaud et pourtant étant obligé de me protéger j’étais donc dubitatif mais en vélo et à pied par 22 degrés le teeshirt est top. Léger, il a l’air de bien protéger. A tester par de plus fortes chaleurs mais pour le moment très content !
