What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

We ship with FedEx. Packages usually take around 5 business days to be delivered. It might take a few days more.

Tour de cou... pour mon nez!

Acheté pour protéger une cicatrice suite à une greffe sur le nez, très confortable, tient facilement et on respire bien dessous. Vraiment pratique.

Tour de cou trés confortable avec une protection contre les UV. Matière très légère et respirante. Ils protègent efficacement mes fraiches cicatrices au cou. Le seul problème que j'ai rencontré est l'étiquette de la marque qui m'irritait un peu mais j'ai résolu en la decousant. Peut-être penser à la positionner au milieu sur la couture et non en bas ou haut.
