Description
Our UV cap with visor for women, in its Iced Coffee shade, is the ideal anti-UV accessory for all your sunny days, whether you're in your garden, on the beach or in town. Its large 14 cm visor will effectively protect your face from the sun's rays.

Its tightening system at the back lets you adjust the size of the cap to your head size, while its adjustable and removable chinstrap lets you keep it on your head even when it's windy. There's a brass wire around the edge of the visor so you can adjust it to your liking, for optimum protection.

Thanks to the two loops on the side, you can personalise your cap with one of our Nuvées UV protective headwear scarves. You can attach this scarf to your UV cap in a variety of ways, to give your neck extra protection from the sun's rays for example.

Modern and stylish, this cap is also ultra-light, compact and foldable. You can take it with you wherever you go, and even put it in your handbag.

  • Machine wash inside out (30°C maximum). Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Can be ironed (110°C maximum).
What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

This UPF 50+ certified UV fabric has been designed specifically for the manufacture of hats. It's very light, making it very comfortable to wear, even for a whole day in the middle of summer.
The fabric is also machine washable for added comfort and freshness, and can be ironed to prevent creasing.
