Our women's UV cap, in its pretty two-tone Pearl White & Apricot Sorbet, is the ideal UV accessory for all your outdoor activities.

The visor of this UV cap will protect your face from the sun's rays and your eyes from the glare. For maximum UV protection for your neck and nape, quickly attach the removable sun protection panel using the press studs.

With a tab at the back, our cap fits perfectly around your head. It's compact and easy to slip into your bag, so you can take it with you wherever you go. And it's lightweight, so you can wear it all day long.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.
