The 100% cotton fabric (50% of which is recycled cotton) is 3 times lighter than conventional jeans, making them feel light and breathable, even in the hottest weather. With their straight cut, these UV-resistant jeans are THE essential companion for all your summer outings.

What does UPF 50+ mean?

This product is UPF 50+ certified.

UPF stands for Ultraviolet Protection Factor. It is an index measuring the ability of a fabric or material to filter out ultraviolet rays. The UPF 50+ index is the highest UV protection certification, according to European standard EN 13758-1. An UV protective garment with UPF 50+ certification blocks over 98% of UV rays, protecting your skin from possible burns and lesions.

By way of comparison, a cotton summer t-shirt often has a protection factor of around UPF 5. This means that 20% of UV rays pass through the fabric, which is a lot for someone who has to stay out of the sun or is exposed to it for long periods of time.

Jean anti-UV mal taillé

"Jean" léger , coloris ressemblant aux "vrais" Jeans...mais mal taillé au niveau de l'entre jambe (pli inesthétique), trop large au niveau des jambes par rapport à la taille qui serre. Je ne suis portant pas bien grosse au niveau de la taille et ai des cuisses bien musclées (et j'ai encore beaucoup de marge dans le pantalon, au niveau de celles-ci).

Great material, goog uvprotection. Quick despatch of the product. The design could be slightly better, in comparison are the hips width a bit out proportion.
